Westminster leave it late to record point over leaders

Division One
Westminster helped all the chasing pack when they reduced the league leaders to only one point after scoring a late goal to level the scores over Berinsfield at the Sutton Courtenay Recreation Ground. Tony Beechers had put Berinsfield in front but Westminster dug deep and were rewarded in the last minute when Aiden Di Toro strike that went in off the crossbar.Saxton Rovers moved within four points of the leaders with games in hand after they recorded a 5-2 victory over Steventon at Caldecott Road thanks to two goals apiece from leading scorer Tom Stanley and Dan Parry whilst Gary Hartley also found the target. East Hendred maintained their good form with posting a fine 6-2 victory over Stanford-in-the-vale thanks to a first half hat-trick from Jack Daley with further goals coming from Tom Austin scoring twice and Jason McDowell whilst Adam Hazell and Bradley Hammond scored for Stanford. Lambourn Sports got back to winning ways at Bockhampton Road when recording a fine 4-1 victory over Long Wittenham with goals coming from Dan Bond, Luke Richards, Jason Tatum and a Marc Connelly penalty with Lambourn also finding time to hit the woodwork twice whilst Arran Colley scored for the visitors. Hanney United completed a quick double over basement side North Oxford when recording a 3-0 victory with James Bishop, Shaun Harris and George Crowley all hitting the target.

Division Two
Kintbury Rangers Reserves maintained their good form and produced a fine 2-0 victory over previously unbeaten in the league Ardington thanks to first half goals from Luke Connor and Dan Chambers. League leaders Saxton Rovers Reserves collected all three points when they travelled back from basement side Benson Lions posting a fine 4-0 victory thanks to goals from George Goodenough, Conor Spraggs, Micheal Smith and Kyle de Silva. Wallingford Town Reserves moved into fourth spot in the table when claiming a fine 4-2 victory over Sutton Courtenay with Adam Walters, Rob Wood, Mark Jarman and Ishmael Thomas all hitting the target whilst Rhys Griffiths scored both goals for Sutton Courtenay.

Division Three
Hagbourne United produced a mini shock when posting a fine 3-1 victory over league leaders East Hendred Reserves thanks to Jamie Clark, Dom Lovegrove and Scott Grafton all finding the target whilst Liam Eltham scored for the visitors. Second placed Cholsey United failed to make full impact from the leaders slip up when they were held to a 2-2 draw against Marcham with substitute Craig Passey scoring both Cholsey goals whilst Stuart Armstrong and Steven Mundy scored for Marcham.

Division Four
League leaders Ardington Reserves hit a brick wall when they were thumped 5-0 at home against Appleford thanks to two goals from Glen Derrington with further goals coming from Matthew Kinchin, Jake Muir and Dave Maxwell. Cumnor Minors U21 made full use of the leaders slip up when they claimed a narrow 2-1 victory away at Watlington Town Reserves with goals coming from James Large and Rob King whilst Andy Gray scored for Watlington. Marcham Reserves kept in the shadows of the leaders with a fine 4-1 victory over Berinsfield Reserves thanks to a hat-trick from Jamie Salter with Alex Woodman also scoring whilst Iain Pledge scored for Berinsfield. Faringdon Town A made short work of their afternoon with recording a fine 7-2 victory over Hagbourne Reserves thanks to a five timer from Jason Evans with further goals from Alex Bird and Tom Lawrence.

War Memorial Cup Quarter Final
Division Two Blewbury produced a fine performance and caused a cup shock when they posted a fine 6-0 victory over Division One Harwell Village to move into the semi finals of the competition with Arran Gray hitting a hat-trick with further goals coming from Boyan Thorpe, Charles Jamieson and Dan Knapp. In an all Division Two clash Faringdon Town Reserves just overcame Watlington Town by the odd goal in a narrow 3-2 victory at Tuckers Park with Mark Loveridge scoring twice for Faringdon and Rich Evans also hitting the net and Faringdon now go on to meet Blewbury in the last four.
