Younie hits Lambourn for six as Westminster go top

Division One
Westminster went back to the top of the league when they travelled to Lambourn Sports and claimed all three points with a thumping 9-0 victory thanks to a double hat-trick from Andy Younie with Cameron Lagan scoring twice and Tom Srawley also hitting the target. Berinsfield are close in the leaders shadows after they posted a hard fought 4-3 victory over Harwell Village after scoring a last minute penalty to secure the points with Mark Ingram scoring twice and Max Palmer and Luke Saunders also scoring whilst Harwell replied through two goals from Jack Kitchener and a Lewis Noble strike. East Hendred moved up to third place in the table with a 3-1 victory at Mill Lane over Hanney United with goals from Tom Austin, Jack Daley and Tyron Lee whilst James Bishop scored the Hanney consolation. Long Wittenham kept up their fine run of form when posting a fine 4-1 victory over Steventon with Will Houseman, Sam Borland, Arron Colley and Kieran Cooper all hitting the target whilst Sam Seston scored for Steventon. Stanford-In-The-Vale and North Oxford were locked together at Cottage Road in a 2-2 draw with Dean Grimes and Ryan Mason scoring for Stanford and Sadiq Hamis and Tennyson Mawema replying for North Oxford.

Division Two
Ardington went to the top of Division Two and maintained their one hundred per cent record when they came back from Wallingford Town Reserves with a thumping 7-1 victory thanks to a Shane McGowan hat-trick with Nick Wilkins and Jason O’ Hanlon both scoring with bullet headers with Sam Connors scoring through a thirty yard screamer and Jamie Gregory also finding the target. Sutton Courtenay got back to winning ways when they claimed a hard fought 2-1 victory over previous leaders Saxton Rovers Reserves thanks to two goals from Kieran Kerby whist Ollie Nadin scored for Saxton. Blewbury maintained their fine run of form and moved up into third place in Division Two with a narrow 2-1 victory over Kintbury Reserves with Lee Chapman and Jack Thompson hitting the target whilst Lee Franklin scored for the home side. Benson Lions claimed their first league points of the season when posting a fine 4-1 victory over Crowmarsh with Martin Steele scoring twice with Lewis Bines and Connor Bright also hitting the net whilst Harvey Priddey scored for Crowmarsh.

Division Three
Drayton moved into third place in the Division when they posted a hard fought 3-2 victory in the local derby against Marcham with Nathan Merry, Josh Dennis and Kieron Hughes all finding the target whilst Marcham replied through Tom Cousins and Stuart Armstrong. Hagbourne United bounced back from last week’s heavy defeat when they claimed a fine 5-1 victory over Wallingford Town A with Dom Lovegrove scoring twice with Charlie Black, Jamie Clark and Macauley Churton also scoring whilst Harvey Prince scored for Wallingford.

Division Four
Cumnor Minors moved back to the top of Division Four when they travelled to Berinsfield Reserves and claimed a fine 3-1 victory after being behind at half time with William Jones and Jordan Mowe amongst the scorers for Cumnor whilst Jon Welch scored for the home side. Faringdon Town A produced a mini shock when they travelled to previous leaders Ardington Reserves and posted a narrow 2-1 victory with Dom Wills and Oliver Picket hitting the target whilst Jamie Wilkins scored for Ardington. Hanney 66 Club moved into third place in the table with a thumping 9-2 victory over Steventon Reserves thanks to a Luke Ulyatt hat-trick with John Green and Adam Day both chipping in with two goals apiece whilst Josh Giles and Dylan Myerscough-Harris also hit the target. Marcham Reserves and Hagbourne Reserves were locked together in a 3-3 draw with Marcham scoring through a double strike from Leighton Jackson with Russell Comley also hitting the net whilst Adam Lee, Tom Manner and George Smith scored for the visitors.

North Berks Cup 2nd Round
Compton moved into the next round of the competition where they will meet Blewbury after they defeated Appleford 3-0 with Jack Fisher, Alex Caines and Rolando Harris all hitting the target.
North Berks War Memorial Cup 2nd Round
Faringdon Reserves made light work of their cup tie when they travelled to Fawler Road and claimed a fine 5-1 victory over Uffington United with James Head, Rich Evans, Adam Sly, Glen Townsend and Mark Loveridge all amongst the scorers whilst Pete Fletcher scored for Uffington.
Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy 3rd Round
Saxton Rovers travelled to Singh Sabre Slough in the Senior Trophy and posted a fine 5-0 victory to move into the Quarter Finals of the competition thanks to Tom Stanley scoring a hat-trick for the second week running with Niall Hodgkins and Dan Parry also finding the target.

Watlington Town moved into the Semi-Final of the Oxon Charity Cup with a hard fought 3-2 victory over Charlton United thanks to a Adam Holloway hat-trick.
